Description
🟧 Product Overview
ASTM A515 is a carbon–silicon pressure vessel steel grade intended for intermediate and higher temperature service. It is commonly used in welded boilers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers operating at elevated temperatures where good strength and stable performance are required.
A515 is available in Grades 60, 65, and 70, with Grade 70 being the most widely used. Compared with A516, A515 is optimized more for higher temperature service and less for low‑temperature notch toughness.
